Winter wonderland

A ton of snow can make a day beautiful and magical, unless you're horny - then it is a nightmare of NO SEX.

I was way too horny to paint this past weekend. Trapped inside the house with a population of men that only want a guy to just show up at the door when needed (me included).

So now this week I'm out to find a guy. I swear not to REST untill I get mine! Then I can settle down to my next project, which is a painting/construction with depth and three dimentional layers... with sculpy!

I just love to photograph in the autumn. It isn't simply the too-bright light and the crisp fall colors around you... sometimes It's just the monochromatic feel of the day. I think I was a bit too influenced by Hemingway's "The Snows of Kilimangaro". That terse, clipped style coupled with his bleak alienated settings and unengaged characters is just too, too BERGMAN!

How youth wallows in self actualization!

Holiday art party
Well, the party is this weekend and I have about a half dozen pieces to send. Yippee! I also have some of the cards done and might do more for a friend. I can't believe that I will only be able to attend for a short time because of the part-time holiday job at Filenes, oh well.

Fun with sex for the holidays

How many upright citizens got laid last weekend? A show of hands please... I thought so.
I live in a NASTY city - thank god. I took a little break from all my frantic brush strokes for the upcoming holiday party to go out and relieve some tensions.

And in this holiday season I am grateful... that I have almost no gag reflex left - because I am thankful... for the ten inches that I russled up and wrassled down this weekend. I know, I know, I much prefer to be the "getter" in these things... but some times a man has to rise (or lower) to the occasion. Especially if he was as horny as I have been.

And while we're on the subject, about this creativity and saiety thing... I just wanted to nap and watch TV afterwards... so I guess that settles that for all time.

Sex really is a fun waste of time so if anyone wants to have some EMAIL ME bostonwill@lycos.com.

Fun with a Board
Yes, I do mean CLUE! Saturday was fun. Spent it meeting new people and learning new games... CARD games. One of the guys I was talking to said: That's weird, you have no problem at all telling me all about your kinky sex life, but have trouble admitting you once went to CHARADES parties.

That is truly "The gay experience" now isn't it? The party, in Vermont< was really a hoot. Lots of good food, good conversation and the chance to connect.

I spent Sunday hooking up with friends, thinking about departed loved ones and going to Mount Auburn Cemetary to take some more photos. It ended up being a very peaceful day and I loved some of the images I got.

I might even make one of these my X-mas card this year. How weird is that? Merry christmas, here's a picture of a GRAVESTONE that I think is festive!

Art, art everywhere
Hola, I was going to call a guy I met at a sleazy pick-up place - but didn't. Then I was going to GO to the sleazy pick-up place - but didn't. So instead I went to the MFA, which is free on Wensdays after 5 or maybe 6.

I wandered around and looked at paintings of oceans for a while then went downstairs to the cafeteria and had a coffee. I was going to say hello to a bartender I remembered from years ago, but didn't.

I finally hung out in front of the Boit Sisters painting by Sargent and got deppressed, it is an incomparable masterpiece of isolation and space (do those kids even KNOW each other? How could anyone create something so beautiful and lonely at twenty six years old!

I went home and worked on some of my canvases to try and be ready for Noah's holiday party. Every year I promise to do something to sell and every year I start something but don't finish it. This year damn it THIS YEAR!!!

The current state of my room, plus a couple more paintings on another wall.

My First Entry
Hi, first things first: Is there a spell/grammar checker?

My name is Will and I live in Boston / Arlington Massachusetts (Why can't I live in a state with an easy to spell Indian name, like Utah or Ohio) I am one of those gay guys that love art in all it's forms... well maybe not Opera. I have seen one and I do like that Opera movie by Kubrick...Aria? But my main love is painting. Doing and looking - a two part pleasure.

I am very lucky to have a passel of world class museums in my back yard. (Note: Harvard's Fogg is FREE before twelve on Saturdays)
